“If only I could rate lower. Northeast has revealed itself to be an unethical, negligent, condescending, and money hungry corporation. Directly responsible for sending me into multiple crises and withdrawals. 3 days after a suicide attempt and less than 24 hours before my next therapy appointment, I was unilaterally terminated from therapy with NO communication from long term therapist Gabriella Mancini and told by director Shawn there was NO plan in place for continuity of care. The way this was (mis)handled directly contradicts both the ACA’s and NASW’s codes of ethics for best practice regarding ethical termination/patient abandonment. I was left without a provider for an entire MONTH due to Northeast’s negligence. Absolutely unacceptable. Management is unwilling or unable to take accountability for mistakes (which happen far too often), putting undue burden on patients who are already struggling. Unfortunately based on other comments, it seems like my experience of being belittled, gaslit, and dismissed is commonplace. Though I do find it interesting how staff floods the reviews with 5 star reviews after getting a legitimate complaint in order to artificially inflate the ratings. I also find it interesting how those have all been responded to, meanwhile it’s crickets over here. Thank you for proving my point regarding your lack of accountability in real time. 😂 I genuinely received more compassionate and responsive care from CCBC, a free community resource, than I ever have from Northeast despite paying for their services for years! Taking my business elsewhere was the best decision I’ve ever made for my mental health.”
