How likely are you to recommend West Central Mental Health - West Springfield?
What patients say on Google
“I just started and I feel they are a great new addition to the area of wellness care. My therapist was very knowledgeable to many modalities and open to speaking to my family members as well, always 👍. I think we're off to a promising start there and I'm hopeful for what may be in my future if I continue working with him.”
“I have been a patient at this agency for years and I am very happy with my therapist. The behavior of the receptionist at the agency has made me want to quit therapy several times. Even my therapist acknowledges that they don't represent the goals the agency. Unfortunately, the front desk staff are consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. They don't make eye contact, speak curtly, and act as if patients are inconveniencing them. Basic customer service—like acknowledging patients politely or asking if there is anything else they can help with—seems completely absent. The newest receptionist makes the experience even worse. She is often laughing and friendly when speaking Spanish, yet when I approach the window her demeanor immediately changes and she looks irritated and disengaged when speaking in English with me. Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother if the agency doesn't even care...”
“The patient restrooms need improvement. There is often only one working restroom, there is a hole in the wall, and basic supplies like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are frequently missing. I’ve been a patient before it was West Central and all I can say is there have been no improvements since starting back in 2020. Otherwise the front staff and my provider have been amazing!!”
“Excellent, quality staff. Kind, professional. I would highly recommend. This is hands down the best therapy I have ever received. My therapist has guided me through the most difficult time in my life. I just celebrated on year sobriety, Eric has guided me through this healing process, truly helping me understand my own behavior, reactions and feelings. His energy is fantastic. The medicine provider is also wonderful, she’s very kind and I have not experienced any issues at all regarding medication. I also recently began family therapy with a different therapist, Nicole. She is also wonderful! Kind, sweet and very knowledgeable in her work. We really like her and are looking forward to our future sessions with her. Office staff is wonderful. They have been able to treat all of my needs in terms of therapy. I feel very fortunate to have found this center and these therapists.”
