What patients say on Google
“Generally, I would give Aster 5 stars. Your clinicians are great! However, in today's USPS mail, I received a billing statement that I had already paid last week. Although that can happen sometimes, it was distasteful that Aster included a $2.00 charge for the paper statement. When you notified me of my $37.00 bill by email last week, I paid it same day right away. It's no fun feeling like you're getting nickeled & dimed by petty, unnecessary charges.”
“Aster is truly a caring place. They help you on your journey of healing. The atmosphere and energy in the office is uplifting and calming. All the team members are wonderful.”
“Send your loved ones elsewhere. TMS team lied to a member of my family in order to bill additional consult sessions. Unprofessional and unethical.”
“When I called to reschedule an upcoming appointment so I could travel to be with a dying family member, I was told I would be charged a $100 fee for rescheduling without 48 hours notice - it was 45 hrs to my appointment. The person on the phone told me they couldn’t authorize removing the fee, they said only their manager could do it, so I asked for the manager to call me back. The manager did not call me back, and instead had another receptionist call to tell me no. I was spoken to very disrespectfully - there was absolutely no sympathy for the family emergency. The person who I spoke to on the phone told me “I see in the past you have cancelled appointments before 48 hours, so I’m not sure why you couldn’t do it now but that’s not my problem.” He said this to me knowing that my loved one was dying. He then proceeded to berate me for being disrespectful, while I was in tears on the phone, trying to explain that I can’t plan my family members death. There were points where I was upset and yelling, trying desperately to evoke any kind of basic human empathy about the situation but they had none. They’re going to charge me a $100 for choosing to be with a dying family member. This behavior and treatment of patients is coming from a mental health practice. This practice is abusive. Please, do yourself a favor and don’t book any appointments here. They are heartless, cruel, and will shake every dime possible out of you. They will not accommodate emergencies, you will be charged exorbitant fees for you or your family falling ill, for them dying.”
