How likely are you to recommend Boston Neurobehavioral Associates (BNBA)?
What patients say on Google
“I started seeing dr. Bhumi in december and was very pleased with her. She showed she cared and was actively listening to me. I did end up leaving and seeing another phsyciatrist at the same place I am getting therapy, that did not work out for me, so, I called them and they got me back in with bhumi very quickly. Although I left her, she received me the same way she did the first time. With care, active listening and grace.”
“Dr. Ranelle Lewis psychiatrist is by far the best psych I have ever met. She is my sons doctor and she is well educated, understanding, and truly listens to what your explaining to her. She has changed my sons life for the better! He is finally getting the help he so desperately needed. He is able to do things and manage life so he can build a successful future. She is compassionate, kind, empathetic, understanding, and a great listener. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a psychiatrist! Thank you Ranelle and Boston nuerobehavioral associates !!”
“My psychiatrist of almost a decade that I had a trusting, respectable relationship with retired in 2025. The transition to Boston Neurobehavioral Associate's was easier than I expected and I was immediately met with a feel of no judgement and understanding. The intake paperwork was easy and all done electronically and my Electronic Health Record was already available which makes things a more seamless. I am excited to develop a new relationship with my doctor. She's already made me feel like this is a partnership striving towards health.”
“I had a session with Dr. Ifeoma Ikwuanusi at Boston Neurobehavioral Associates. I am a patient previously diagnosed with ADHD, but since I moved to a different country, I can no longer see my original doctor. After evaluating me over the phone for only 20 minutes, this psychiatrist dismissed my ADHD diagnosis and instead claimed — with no real basis — that I had dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality disorder). She prescribed me Lamotrigine 25 mg. Despite taking it consistently, after 20 days I experienced serious side effects, including anxiety/restlessness and skin peeling. During our third session, when I told her I had stopped the medication four days earlier because of these side effects, she suddenly started yelling at me during the video call. She said I could not make that decision on my own, that I needed to keep taking the medication, and even insisted that I hadn't actually stopped it. Her behavior was completely unprofessional — she acted like a child arguing with a friend on a schoolyard. She raised her voice at me and implied, in a passive-aggressive way, that I was stupid. At that point I said I no longer wanted to continue the session; this final call lasted only 5 minutes before I ended it. Despite this, Boston Neurobehavioral Associates continues to call me and demand payment for these sessions.”
