How likely are you to recommend Boston Precision Neurotherapeutics?
“A friend of mine had a great experience here from start to finish. After months of suffering the TMS effectively addressed her depression. Everyone here from intake to long-term follow-up was terrific. I recommend highly.”
“The staff at BPN is wonderful and caring, including Dr. Pottanat. I took a family member for treatment at BPN. I saw Will's review. Accelerated TMS has shown remarkably high remission rates in trials, but it does not work for everyone. If 80% achieve remission, that means that 20% don't. For these with treatment resistant depression that doesn't respond to standard treatments, IV ketamine, spravato, and TMS are options. I have seen remarkable benefits from IV ketamine.”
“I received a treatment of accelerated TMS at Boston Precision Neurotherapeutics and not only had a great experience with the staff but also with the out come. The treatment essentially corrected my very severe depression. I have been able to reduce medications that have side effects for me, with the goal of eventually going off them entirely. Every single member of the team was extremely professional and compassionate, even their mascot dog Bean. Very much recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with severe depression or finds little benefit from medication.”
“Stay away from Rodger Pottanat at Boston Precision Neurotheraputics. Rodger sold me on his $40,000 treatment with an unbelievable remission statistic. When I was at my lowest, and told this treatment makes 80% of people go into remission, I was thrilled to have a new promising option. I was robbed. On Friday at 5 pm, after a week being in a windowless room getting zapped on the hour from sunrise to sunset, Rodger administered the PHQ-9. To each question I answered “It is absolutely too soon to tell, I’ve been here all week which is such a break in my routine there is no way to tell this soon” after answering each question with that, Rodger had the audacity to tell me I was cured. Whatever answers he marked on the PHQ-9 had indicated “I wasn’t depressed anymore” and he made sure to tell me. It was at this moment I realized I was now part of his 80%. It is my assumption that he has been using my treatment statistics to scam vulnerable people ever since. STAY FAR AWAY. There are much safer, much more promising depression treatments.”
